Can't I just buy broth from the grocery store?

Nope. Broth (often labelled “stock”) from the grocery store relies on high temperature, fast-cooking techniques, which result in a watered down, non-gelling liquid, so you’re missing out on some of the benefits of a gelatin-rich broth. In addition, unnatural additives (like MSG) and flavors are often added. If you’re interested in the healing properties of bone broth, you have buy broth made the natural way.

What is your bone broth made of?

Our beef broth ingredients are grass-fed neck bones, grass-fed marrow bones, grass-fed rib bones, grass-fed knuckle bones, organic carrots, organic onions, organic celery, organic bay leaves, organic parsley, organic black pepper, organic apple cider vinegar, and filtered water. This broth is slow simmered for 48 hours.

Our chicken broth ingredients are chicken backs, chicken necks, chicken bones, chicken wings, chicken feet, organic carrots, organic onions, organic celery, organic bay leaves, organic parsley, organic black pepper, organic apple cider vinegar, and filtered water. This broth is slow simmered for 24 hours.

What do I do with my bone broth?

We like to drink a mug of it, just like you would coffee or tea. In fact, a warming up a cup of broth and adding a pinch of salt to taste is a great way to start your morning—try drinking 8 ounces a day, every day. Of course, you can use it in recipes wherever it calls for broth or stock, or turn it into a base for your favorite soup. It is very versatile and can be used in many ways!

Can I cook with Sip Bone Broth?

Yes you can! We use it as an amazing base to soups, curries, quinoa and rice... basically anywhere that water is used as an ingredient you can try. We've poached eggs in it, steamed rice and quinoa with it and add it to all our favorite soups and curry dishes for some added umami. 

How long will the bone broth last?

Your bone broth will last up to 7 days refrigerated and up to 4 months frozen.

How can I reheat the bone broth?

We recommend heating it in a saucepan over medium heat on the stove. We recommend that you don't let it boil, but bring it near boiling.
